Redesignated as:136 Signal Radio Intelligence Company, Aviation, on 4 Oct 1943; 136 Radio Security Detachment on c. 24 Jan 1945; 136 Radio Security Squadron on 15 Mar 1949; 136 Communications Security Squadron on 20 Jan 1951; 36 Communications Security Squadron on 8 Dec 1953. Inactivated on 8 May 1955. Consolidated (1 Nov 1994) with 6919 Electronic Security Squadron, which was designated, and activated, on 1 Oct 1986. Inactivated on 31 May 1991. Redesignated as 39th Intelligence Squadron on 1 Nov 1994. Activated on 15 Nov 1994. Redesignated as 39 Information Operations Squadron on 1 Sep 1999
