Shield: Gules (Brick Red), an Indian sun symbol voided in the center oR, and superimposed theron a winged wheel of the like, fimbriated of the field.
Crest: That for regiments and separated battalions of the Army Reserve: From a wreath Or and Gules (Brick Red), the Lexington Minute Man Proper, The Statue of the Minute Man, Captain John Parker (H.H. Kitson, sculptor), stands on the common in Lexington, Massachusetts.
Motto: Da al tseh nda (First to be ready).

Distinctive Unit Insignia, Discription: A Gold color metala nd enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height consisting of a shield blazoned: Gules (Brick Red), an Indian sun symbol voided in the center oR, and superimposed theron a winged wheel of the like, fimbriated of the field. Attached below and to the sides to the sides of the shield a Gold scroll inscribed "DA AL TSEH NDA" in Brick Red letters.

Origin/meaning

The Colours are those of Transportation Units. The Indian Sun Symbol refers to New Mexico to present location of the Battalion. The Winged Wheel symbolise the Transportation Mission.

The arms and the Distinctive Unit Insignia was both approved on 26 June 1961.
