Origin/meaning

Approved on 19 December 1958, The Colour Green and the Ears symbolises Agriculture. The Birch leaves symbolises the Forests. The Cutting Wheel symbolises the Metal Industry.
The five tooths of the wheel symbolises the Five Parishes Finja, Röke, Hörja, Västra Torup and Matteröd which in 1952 formed Tyringe.
