History: Constituted as 79 USAF Infirmary on 20 June 1955. Activated on 18 August 1955. Redesignated as 79 USAF Dispensary on 8 May 1957. Discontinued on 1 March 1960. Redesignated as 79 Medical Wing on 5 May 2006. Activated on 10 May 2006.
