Catalan | Escut caironat: de gules, un gerro d'or. Per timbre una corona de baró. |
Spanish | Escudo losanjado: de gules, un jarrón de oro. Por timbre una corona de barón. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on October 4, 1996.
The arms are canting: they show a "gerra" (Catalan for jug, pitcher). The baron crown is at the top because Algerri was the centre of a barony in the XVI century.
