Un scut triunghiular cu marginile tăiate rotunjit. În partea superioară, pe contra hermină, se află un cap de bour, flancat de o roză și de o lună conturnată, totul de aur. În partea inferioară, pe fond roșu, se află o spadă cu garda în sus, susținută de o lună răsturnată, de aur. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 30, 2007.

The bull's head (the old coat of arms of Moldova), placed on the counter ermine, as a sign of mourning, signals the existence in the local church of the royal tombs belonging to the family of the Moldovan Prince Dabija Voda.

The sword and the moon are reminiscent of the sacrifice of Miron Voda Barnovschi in Istanbul and one of the church's patron saints (St. John's Beheading).

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
