- (abbot) Quarterly, 1 and 4 Or, two crows sable 2 and 3 Or, a Z-shaped mark Sable, charged in the centre with a small X of the same, and placed between two five-pointed stars gules. The shield, surmounted by an abbot's mitre and resting against a crozier in pale, is placed under an Episcopal Hat vert with 12 tassels. Supporter: St. Benno, in cope and mitre, holding a staff.

Origin/meaning
As abbot his arms quarter the arms of Einsiedeln Abbey (crows) with his personal arms. The supporter in the arms as abbot is St. Benno, his patron saint.
As cardinal he used only his personal arms, however, with the field colour purple, instead of gold as abbot.
