Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, despicat. În cartierul din dreapta, în câmp albastru, se află o pană de aur, flancată de două stele de argint; în partea inferioară a cartierului se află două brâuri undate de argint. În cartierul din stânga, în câmp roșu, pe o terasă verde, se află un ibex rampant din argint, armat și limbat cu aur, întors spre dreapta, ținând un brad de aur. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 23, 2018.

The stars represent the two villages that make up the commune.

The wavy bars signify the Lăpuș River.

The ibex holding the pine tree represents the coat of arms of the Teleki family.

The green terrace symbolizes soil fertility.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
