Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite și cu o bandă crenelată de argint. În partea superioară, în stânga, în câmp albastru, se află un motiv solar de aur. În partea inferioară, în dreapta, în câmp verde, se află o flacără de aur. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint, cu un singur turn.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 3, 2018.

The bend symbolizes the important constructions of the commune (buildings, monuments) from different historical periods.

The solar motif, reproduced after that of a church gate in Corunca carved in wood in 1740, alludes to a local legend and represents the agriculture and harmonious development of the commune. The blue field symbolizes the faith of the inhabitants.

The flame represents the richness of methane gas, a resource of national interest, industrially exploited on the territory of the locality.

The mural crown with a crenellated, silver tower is the symbol of a communal settlement.
