German	(1939) In einem von gold und blau geteilten Schild oben ein schwarzer linksgekehrter Marskreis, unten ein goldenes Stollenmundloch, im offenen Eingangsbogen goldene Bergmannshämmer. (1970) Schild von blau und gold geteilt; in dem kleineren oberen Felde hervorbrechend ein goldener rotbewehrter, von sieben goldenen Schindeln begleiteter Löwe, im unteren ein blaues Stollenmundloch, im offenen Torbogen schwarze Bergmannshämmer.

The arms were granted on June 5, 1939, new arms were granted in 1970 and are identical to the arms of Amt Eiserfeld (see there).
