Helmteken: 'n Swart muurkroon belaai met 'n silwer versmalde dwarsbalk, daarop 'n ander van groen.
Wrong en Dekklede: Silwer en swart.

Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 9, 1990.
This local authority is situated near the site of a petrified forest. The Basotho name Fateng-tse-Ntso, which means "black trees", alludes to this petrified forest of which only the trunks and certain major branches have survived. An impression of this forest is used in the design of the arms
