Origin/meaning
The silver field represents integrity in carrying out assigned duties. It is quoted with the representation of the National Flag, the welcome to the components and allies of the Army. The Cross-Sword of Santiago is a reference to the assistance and care of pilgrims, activities carried out by the Order of Santiago on its way through Granada. The rest of the composition is a heraldic reference to the place where the Residence is located, Granada. The Coat of Arms was approved on 30 March 2016.
