Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on November 28, 2024.
The oak refers to the local forest. The dragon symbolizes Saint Michael, patron saint of the parish, this dragon also refers to the coat of arms of the Dukes of Biron and the legends linked to the local castle mound.
The wolf refers to the etymology of Guerfand , taken from the term Willulfingos where Willulf designates a remarkable wolf. The green field recalls the surrounding nature.
