Official blazon
English 1932 Version: Silver; a boar's head black.
1996 Version: Barry wavy of four white and blue; the head of a boar black armed gold langued red.

Motto: Premia post ardua.


Origin/meaning

From the arms of the fishing Port on the River Humber in Lincolnshire. The Motto Translates as "Reward comes after toil" and is the same in Both Versions. The badge was approved in 1932 and replaced by the present on 25 Janaury 1996.
