English Per fess embattled blue and black; a hippocampus white.


Origin/meaning

A Castle in Kent. The Battlements were restored by Wykeham-Martin in 1821 and those by Lady Baillie (whose livery Colours was Blue and Black). The Seahorse denote the Castle. The badge was approved in 1949.
