English Paly bendy gold and blue; within a wreath a laurel gold a dragon statant white red.


Origin/meaning

A successful Battle against the Dutch under Tromp in 1666 (also called Orfordness). Prince Rupert (gold and blue) and the Duke of Albermale (dragon) was joint Commanders-in-Chief. The badge was approved in 1946.
