French | De sinople à deux églises affrontées d'argent |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on April 9, 1992.
The two churches symbolise the two original parishes in the municipality.
The arms are no longer used by the municipality, but not officially replaced it seems.
The municipality in practice uses a quartered shield with the arms of the De Hames and the De Fiennes families, former lords of the area.
