Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 4, 2013.

The anvil and hammer symbolise one of the main occupations of the inhabitants, that of blacksmith, which has been practiced since ancient times, bringing them the fame of good craftsmen.

The oak branch with leaves and acorns represents the forest richness of the area. The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
