Origin/meaning

The arms were registred in 1987. The Blue colour and the wavy partition symbolises the River Nissan. The two fesses is to be understod as Timber Logs, and symbolises the Forestry of
the area. They also indicates the imnportance of the Railway to the Aera. The Water Wheel, stands for the early industry driven by Water Power.
