Origin/meaning
The gules field symbolizes the generosity with which this Residence welcomes users and their families, which together with the lion and the flag, are a heraldic reference to Juan de Garay, an illustrious character from whom it takes its name. The waves of azure and silver represent the surroundings of the Residence, the sky and the sea. The gold border with the gules blades alludes to its location in the province of Vizcaya. The Coat of Arms was approved on 28 January 2015.
