Origin/meaning
The Luther's rose, originate from the re-establishment of the town in the 17th century by German Lutherans from Hessen encouraged to migrate here by the local landowners, the Antall family. The linden leaf on the shield symbolizes Germanism. The linden tree is a sacred tree in Germanic mythology.
The golden crown refers to the nobility who lived in the area in the 16th century, which was decisive for the development of the life of the settlement.
The bunch of grapes refers to the significant viticulture and viticulture of the settlement, and to the classification of the South Balaton wine region as a wine-growing place.
