Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on April 4, 2025.
The vase is the symbol of St. Madeleine, the patron saint of the local church. The cross refers to the Order of the Templars, to which part of the area belonged in the 12th century.
The fleur-de-lys is taken from the arms of the département Loir-et-Cher, the garb and flower refer to the agriculture and nature and the wavy bar refers to the Sixtre river.
