Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 7, 1985.

The arms refer with the columns of a Roman temple to the archaeological finds from the Roman period which reveal the existence of an ancient settlement, later a center of diffusion of Christianity in the middle Lario region. The base shows the water of Lake Como on whose western shore Lenno protected by an inlet.
