Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on May 6, 2011.
The pine tree is taken from the historical arms of Yarensk - the district's center.
The squirrel symbolises the rich northern forests ; the western part of the district lies within one of Europe's largest arrays of taiga are not affected by human intervention.
The blue head and base symbolise the important role of the rivers for the local population,such as the Yarenga and a whole number of smaller rivers.
