Un scut triunghiular albastru, cu marginile rotunjite, cu un șef zidit de argint. În partea inferioară sunt amplasate două ciocane de argint în săritoare, iar peste ciocane se află o ancoră neagră. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 25, 2015.

The wall refers to the ancient city of Salsovia in the municipality. The anchor refers to the importance of fishing and Mahmudia as a port. The hammers refer to the limestone mining in the municipality.
