Origin/meaning
The central feature is a red maple leaf on a white field representing the National emblem in the National Colours. The four arrows indicate by use of the cardinal point of a compass, the preparedness for military service anywhere in the world. The drak blue and light blue of the arrows symbolises elements of sea and air whereby the command achieves mobility.
