Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 25, 1995.

The arms show a pheasant as a symbol for the natur ein the municipality. The plane tree in the base is a symbol for the local park, which is characterised by a large numer of plane trees.

The arms are based on a onder design from 1988. The colours are those of the local choir and shooting club (Schützenverein).
