English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on April 15, 1937.
The lower part shows the arms of the Amt Menden, to which the village belonged. The two wolf-irons refer to the two villages Ober- and Niederoesbern in the municipality and are derived from the Wolfskuhle area in the municipality.
