German | In goldenem Schilde ein dreireihig rot-silbern geschachter Balken, darüber ein fünflätziger schwarzer Turnierkragen, darunter drei 2 : 1 gestellte schwarze Ringe. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 1, 1938.
The arms show the arms of the Counts of the Mark, to which the area historically belonged, with in the upper part a label and in the base three rings. The label and the rings are derived from the medieval family Von Opherdicke.
