PETRĂCHIOAIA
District/county (județ) : Ilfov
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 23, 2010.
The cross represents the Leșile Orthodox Church, built around 1850. Wheat ears refer to the main occupation of the inhabitants, agriculture, and the number of ears represents the component villages of the commune.
The fish symbolizes the river that crosses the town and the Mostiștea pond.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
