Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 2020.

The wavy bends refer to the Marne river. The wall-iron and the wheatear come from the coat of arms of the Jacobé family, lords of the village in 1557. The dove and the ampulla are the symbols of Saint Remigius (Rémy), the local patron saint. Wheat can also highlight agriculture in Pringy.
