Arms : Per pale azure and sable, a mullet of eight points the lowest point extended towards the base argent.
Crest: On a wreath of the colours, In front of a demi sun gules a crescent Or.
Supporters: On the dexter side a woman, habited in a loose white robe with white sandals upon her feet, supporting in her exterior hand a staff vert ensigned with a crux ansata Or, and on the sister side a representation of Aescula­pius proper, habited in a robe argent with white sandals upon his feet, holding in his interior hand a crescent argent and supporting with his exterior hand his staff Or.
Motto: Super ardua.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on 30 January 1931 to the British College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists; supporters granted 20 June 1950 to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
