English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on July 3, 2023.

Salasc is known for its 'beals'(irrigation canals) and its fountains, the most beautiful of which is situated on the old square. The village was built on the "ruffe" (local red earth). Hence, a red field with a network of silver symbolizing the canals and a fountain.

The green chief refers to the rural environment and agriculture (further symbolised by bunch of grapes). The masks are the attribute of Saint-Genest, patron saint of the local church.
