English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 14, 1978.
The two horse-dragons are based on a design of a Roman grave found in the municipality and indicate the long history of the village. The green symbolises forests and agriculture. The small shield shows the arms of the cathedral Chapter of Trier, who historically ruled the village.
