The Coat of Arms and distinctive Unit Insignia was both approved on 29 November 1962 for the 538th Transportation Battalion. They was redesignated for the 38th supply and Transport Battalion on 24 July 1963 and for the 38th Support Battalion on 20 November 1992. They was redesignated effective 1 September 2008, for the 519th Support Battalion. | |||
