Attached below Red motto scroll inscribed "STEADFAST AND VIGILANT" in Gold.
Origin/meaning
The Chevron symbolises Support. The three Horseshoes symbolises the Number of the Brigade. The Griffin refers to the Battalion's Support, Reconnaissance and Security functions. The Key symbolises the Military Intelligence Capabilities. The Lightnings symbolises the Signal element. The Coat of Arms and Distinctive Unit Insignia, was both approved on 11 August 2005.
