Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 25, 2009.
The sun is taken from the arms of the Tazovsky Rayon. The base symbolises the Taz river, which plays an important role in the local economy and development. The arms also show stylised reindeer antlers, as reindeer are very iomportant for the local Nenets people.
From 1977-2009 the village used the arms shown below:
These arms showed in the upper part the Aurora Borealis, on the silver bar a local Nenets man on a reindeer sledge and in the base a fish for the Taz river.
