German	Unter silbernem Schildhaupt, darin schräggekreuzt ein schwarzer Schlägel und ein schwarzer Hammer, schräglinks geteilt durch eine silberne Wellenleiste von Rot und Grün. Ob ein gestürztes silbernes Eichenblatt mit Eicheln. Unten schräg aufgerichtet eine silberne Rodungshacke.

Origin/meaning

The miner's tools in the chief refer to the former mining in the area. The oak leaves refer to the forests and the green coloour to agriculture. The red is taken from the arms of the Counts of Sayn, to which the village historically belonged. The hoe refers to the clearing of the forest, after which the village developed.
