Belgian Coffee Hag Albums

Variations

Within the Belgian albums three types of variations can be distinguished:
1) variations with only differences in the name of the town and/or the languages of the stamp, but the image itself is identical
2) variations in which the image has changed
3) variations and corrections in the albums

The Belgian albums were issued in two editions, as mentioned in the main introduction file. In the second edition many errors that occurred in the first edition were corrected. This inlcuded the use of proper (Dutch/Flemish) names and the correction of the arms, when the image was published wrongly. The two tables below show the different variations on the stamps. The third table shows differences in the texts of the albums, which are often related with the change on the stamps.
