History: Designated as Squadron "B", 20 Airdrome Group on 28 Jul 1947. Activated on 15 Aug 1947. Discontinued on 26 Aug 1948. Consolidated (12 Oct 1984) with the 20 Air Police Squadron, Fighter, Jet, which was constituted on 15 Jun 1948. Activated on 24 Aug 1948. Redesignated as:20 Air Police Squadron on 20 Jan 1950; 20 Security Police Squadron on 1 May 1967. Inactivated on 1 Jan 1994. Activated on 1 Jan 1994. Redesignated as 20 Security Forces Squadron on 1 Jul 1997.
