482nd Force Support Squadron, US Air Force
History: Constituted as 482 Base Headquarters and Air Base Squadron on 21 December 1942. Activated on 2 January 1943. Disbanded on 1 April 1944. Reconstituted and consolidated (25 February 1981) with the 482 Air Base Group, which was established on 26 May 1952. Activated in the Reserve on 14 June 1952. Inactivated on 1 December 1952. Activated in the Reserve on 18 May 1955. Inactivated on 16 November 1957. Redesignated as 482 Combat Support Squadron on 25 February 1981. Activated in the Reserve on 1 April 1981. Redesignated as:482 Mission Support Squadron on 1 February 1992; 482 Force Support Squadron on 1 December 2010.
