Origin/meaning
The lozenge refers to the Finance Corps insignia of branch. While the Star allude to Texas the Unit's Home State adn the National Guard mission. The Laurel Wreath is for Honour and Achievement. The Coat of Arms and Distinctive Unit Insignia was approved 21 March 1995.
