Origin/meaning
Brick red and golden yellow are the colours of Transportation Units and the blue ring alludes to the insignia of the Quartermaster Corps. The Sun denotes service in the Philippines during World War II. The Sea lion symbolises the Philippine Presidental Unit Citation, awarded in World War II. The Quills are representative of the command and supervision aspects of the organization. The Crest symbolises service in Vietnam. The Arms were approved on 12 October 1999.
