Origin/meaning
The three disks bearing stars alludes to the three campaing honours awared the Battalion for European Service in World War II. They also refers to wheels essential to transportation. the Cornucopias alludes to participation in the Berlin Airlift and to the Quartermaster Roots of the Battalion. The Wheel in the Crest symbolises the Transportation mission and the Bamboo Spokes participation in the Vietnam War. The Scimitars symbolises Southwest Asia Service. the Coat of Arms was approved on 8 September 1998.
