Consolidated (22 Oct 1984) with the 7 Maintenance Squadron, Bombardment, Heavy, which was constituted on 20 Jul 1948. Activated on 1 Aug 1948. Redesignated as:7 Maintenance Squadron on 16 Mar 1950; 7 Field Maintenance Squadron on 16 Jun 1952. Inactivated on 1 Feb 1993. Redesignated as 7 Maintenance Squadron, and activated, on 1 Oct 1993. Redesignated as 7 Equipment Maintenance Squadron on 15 Nov 1993.
