Origin/meaning
Argent/Silver Gray and golden yellow are the Finance Corps colours. The Colours Red, White and Blue also indicates the affilation to the 82nd Airborne Division "All American". The Wings symbolises the Airborne Mission. The Sword denotes military preparedness. The lozenge is adapted from the Finance Corps Branch Insignia and the demi-sun indicated the Unit's Baptism of Fire in Panama. The Quill and key symbolises the Paymaster functions and support. The Palm symbolises campaing participation in Southwest Asia.
