916th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, US Air Force
History: Constituted as 916 Air Engineering Squadron on 8 May 1945. Activated on 1 June 1945. Inactivated on 7 November 1945. Disbanded on 8 October 1948. Reconstituted, redesignated as 916 Aircraft Generation Squadron, and activated in the Reserve on 1 April 1995. Redesignated as 916 Aircraft Maintenance Squadron on 1 October 2002.
