Origin/meaning
The Adjutant General's Corps is represented by the colors dark blue and scarlet. The pile and quill signify organizational expertise at work in the interests of service personnel, as a group and as individuals. The sprigs of Western Hemlock symbolize the organization's home state and also denote growth. White (Argent) signifies integrity and the highest standards of service to U.S. Army personnel. Scarlet indicates courage and sacrifice.
The Arms were approved on 21 January 1999.
