Attached below a Red scroll inscribed "SIGNUM STABILIS" in Gold. The insignia is to be made in pairs. |
Origin/meaning
The Chevron symbolises Support, the fess denotes military control. The bronco rider and the Mountain Range symbolises Wyoming, the Battalion's Home State. The Lightning bolt indicates the swiftness of the Unit's electonic capabilities. The Open-end Wrench signifies the Maintenance function. The Wheel is for the Transport capabilities. The Motto translates as "Setting the support standard".
The Coat of Arms and Distinctive Unit Insignia was both approved on 1 September 2008.
