German	In einem goldenen Schilde erscheint eine auf einem stilisierten abgeledigten Berg aufragende doppeltürmige romanische Kirche, dies alles schwarz; die Kirche silbern ausgefugt. Das Kirchenschiff weist in der Mitte ein von einem silbernen Kreise durchbrochenes rundbogiges Tor auf und trägt auf seinem Giebel ein auf einer Kugel ruhendes Tatzenkreuz. Die beiden Türme sind mit einer Zinnenkrone mit drei sichtbaren Zinnen bekrönt.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 30, 1956.

The sole charge is the black facade of a church with two towers in Romanesque style and decorated with a cross. The church stands upon a hill. The arms commemorate the Benedictine monastery of Arnoldstein, which was dissolved at the end of the 18^th century. The remains of the monastery buildings occupy a hill and are a characteristic landmark in the municipality.
